Registration

Please read these instructions carefully. Once you enter online registration, follow these five easy steps to complete your registration.

Step One - Attendee Type

Select the attendee type in the drop-down menu. If you are a member of a sponsoring organization, you should have received a membership validation code to qualify for a member discount. If you are a member and did not receive this code and wish to register at the discounted rate - please contact the following prior to entering the online registration form to receive your validation code:

Step Two - Registration Option and Functions

Choose your registration option and optional functions you plan to attend. IMPORTANT - review the online program schedule, especially Working Groups and Continuing Education Workshops to avoid scheduling conflicts.

Attendance for Working Groups and Continuing Education Workshops is limited. While registering for Working Groups and Continuing Education Workshops the mornings of Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8, please note that you can sign up for a Working Group or Continuing Education Workshop, but NOT both.

Registration Fees and Deadlines

On-Site Registration (after February 20, 2008):

$275 USD Member (APA Div. 17, CCPTP, and/or ACCTA)
$300 USD Nonmember
$135 USD Student Member (SAS or APAGS)
$150 USD Student Nonmember

One Day Only

$145 USD Member (APA Div. 17, CCPTP, and/or ACCTA)
$170 USD Nonmember
$90 USD Student Member (SAS or APAGS)
$100 USD Student Nonmember

** All presenters must pay registration fees.

*** Other fees may apply for pre-conference activities.

Online registrations will not be accepted after February 20, 2008. Please plan to register onsite.

Step Three - Participant Information

Use this section to enter your participant information. Please enter your first and last name as it will appear on your name badge and attendee roster. It is important your email address is correct to receive your registration confirmation, news updates and other conference information.

Step Four - Registration Verification and Payment

Please confirm all your conference selections and participant information in this section. Next, enter your payment method by credit card or check in U.S. funds only. If paying by credit card - the registration charge on your statement will appear as "Acteva." If paying by check, your confirmation will provide instructions to submit payment. Once complete - Click, APPROVE ORDER to submit your registration.

Step Five - Confirmation

A summary of your order will appear in this section. Please print for your records. You will also receive an electronic confirmation/payment receipt by email shortly after completing your online registration.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and refund requests must be received on or before February 27, 2008. To request a cancellation, please go to http://www.acteva.com/questions.cfm. Refunds will be processed less a $30.00 administration fee. No refunds will be permitted after February 27, 2008. Refunds will not be given for no-shows. A $30.00 processing fee will apply to all returned checks.

Name Badges

You must be registered by February 20, 2008 to receive your personalized name badge during onsite check-in.

Official Attendee Roster

You must be registered by February 20, 2008 to be listed in the attendee roster which will be periodically updated and available online.

Saturday, March 8, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

  • Bring a photo ID and your confirmation receipt to the registration desk
  • Students must also present a valid and current student ID card to verify student status

APA Committee on Accreditation Workshops

These workshops will focus on academic program accreditation and will not appear on the online registration form. They are ONLY opened to faculty in counseling psychology programs. If you are interested in participating in either workshop, please contact Kristen Thompson at kthompson@apa.org or 202-336-5995. Please specify which workshop you would like to attend.
